Britney Spears is thrilled with Jamie Lynn Spears' baby!

SF Gate:
Britney Spears and her family are "thrilled" with the arrival of Jamie Lynn's newborn daughter, reports proud grandfather Jamie.
The 17-year-old sister of pop star Britney gave birth to Maddie Briann, her first child with fiance Casey Aldridge, at Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, Miss., on Thursday.
And family patriarch Jamie, who was said to be present at the birth, insists the entire family are delighted with the newest member of their clan.
He tells Life and Style magazine, "We're thrilled, we're all absolutely thrilled."
Spears and Aldrige became engaged in March. The teen star stunned the Spears family when she announced her pregnancy news last year, at the age of 16. They had reportedly been delaying their wedding until after the birth of their child.

Britney Spears is still a bit crazy!

PA:
Troubled pop star Britney Spears is not yet fit to participate in court proceedings in her power-of-attorney case, her lawyer told a superior court commissioner.
Samuel Ingham, Spears' court-appointed lawyer, and lawyers for her father and conservator, James Spears, spent 90 minutes in Los Angeles commissioner Reva Goetz's chambers.
Mr Ingham told the court afterwards that Spears' medical condition was "fluid" because her treatment was changing.
Spears' probate case is due to go to trial on July 31, but Mr Ingham said it could be "harmful" for her to participate.
Ms Goetz agreed and said Spears' diagnosis was not complete.
The 26-year-old singer and her estate have been under the conservatorship of her father for four months.
